The project which the Catholic Diocese of Mzuzu embarked on earlier this year of developing a strategic plan has been completed.
This was revealed in a validation meeting at St Peters Parish in Mzuzu, where the consultant presented the final copy of the plan to the bishop of the diocese.
Speaking in an interview Bishop John Alphonsus Ryan appreciated the effort of all people who participated in developing the plan.
“We thank all people who participated in this project especially the members of St Patrick’s foundation for their technical support.
We are not yet there, we still need their support to continue working together to develop our diocese especially to implement what we have planned”, added the Bishop.
Speaking on behalf of other diocese institutions the Programs Manager for Catholic Development Commission (CADECOM), Gift Luwe acknowledged the development and asked for togethernes in the process of executing the plan.
“Today we have witnessed the hand over of the strategic plan to the bishop, my plea to all people who will be involved in implementation of the plan is to work together otherwise the effort of developing the plan will be in vain”, said Luwe
According to the office of the bishop the date for launching the strategic plan will be announced soon.
